Located in Savigliano, in the province of Cuneo (Italy), AgenForm CEMI (European Center for Industrial Modeling) is a leading reference point for education in modeling and design within the transportation and industrial design sectors.
Founded in 1998 following the vision of Giorgetto Giugiaro and Arrigo Gallizio, renowned car designers originally from Garessio (CN), the center aims to train highly specialized professionals for the world of industrial design.

The School and Its Facilities

AgenForm CEMI offers modern, fully equipped spaces, including specialized laboratories for:

• Clay Modeling

• Resins, Composites and Woodworking

• Foundry

• 3D Printing

• Virtual Modeling and 3D Scanning

Thanks to these facilities, students can develop essential hands-on skills, combining theoretical learning with real-world applications.

Courses and Career Opportunities

AgenForm CEMI offers targeted training programs with a high post-graduation employment rate:

IFTS – Industrial Drawing and Design Techniques

800 hours, including 400 hours of dual apprenticeship in a company
The course focuses on virtual modeling using advanced software (CATIA V5, ALIAS, SUBD, Unreal, Blender), and covers reverse engineering and additive manufacturing. (see course)

Model and Prototype Construction Technician

1,000 hours, including 300 hours of internship
The program focuses on manual modeling (wood, polyurethane, clay) and virtual modeling (Alias, ICEM Surf). (see course).

Graduates typically find employment in the automotive and industrial design sectors within a few months, thanks to the school’s strong network of collaborations with leading companies.

Partnerships and Projects

CEMI works in close synergy with international companies to develop innovative prototypes. Key projects include:

• Silver Arrows Marine – A “GT of the sea” developed in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Italy.

• Spider – A B-segment vehicle concept created for an international automotive manufacturer.

• Ca(R)vour – A demonstrator prototype featuring an innovative electric powertrain and lithium-ion cells.

Note:
The historic headquarters of AgenForm CEMI is located in Savigliano, Via Ruffini Gattiera, within the 17th-century monastery known as “Crusà Neira.” This site is currently undergoing renovation. Once completed, AgenForm CEMI will be equipped with brand-new, larger facilities, allowing students to create models even at 1:1 scale.
During this period, the school is temporarily hosted by the University of Turin, at Via Garibaldi 6, just a short distance away.
